‘Ekstra’ wins in New York fest

Jeffrey Jeturian’s “Ekstra” won a bronze world medal for producer Quantum Films at the New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films. ABS-CBN also won a bronze for a documentary on Supertyphoon “Yolanda.” GMA 7 won a gold for the public affairs program “Front Row” and bronze medals for “Motorcycle Diaries,” “Reporter’s Notebook,” and its “May Pag-asa” station ID, which was directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. Bayani San Diego Jr.
