Gotta hand it to Enterprising Celeb. A much-hyped event in an ultra-posh venue was the hottest ticket that week. Alas, EC was not on the list. Still, EC got to crash the glitzy gig by riding on the coattails of Wealthy Lothario, who was a guest.
Long before the big day, WL casually mentioned the party and EC exclaimed, “Yes!” before an invitation was extended.
Problem was, insiders couldn’t forgive that brazenness. A friend of the organizers openly criticized EC in front of industry colleagues.

CC is determined to exhume the issue. There will be blood.

Influential Personality seems oh-so-masculine and often indulges in extreme sporting activities. Who knew those manly adventures were just a cover-up?
A mole insists IP is a closet case. IP frequently invites hunky foreigners to sample the high-adrenaline hobbies that he enjoys in his hometown.

‘Mad’ actor convicted
AUSTIN, Texas—“Mad Men” star Jon Hamm took part in a violent university hazing in 1990 at the University of Texas that led to criminal charges, according to court and school records obtained this week.
The Emmy-nominated actor had not previously been publicly linked to a lawsuit filed by a member of a fraternal social organization who said he was severely beaten, dragged by a hammer and had his pants lit on fire. In the 1991 lawsuit, the pledge said Hamm participated “until the very end.”
Criminal records show Hamm, now 44, was charged with hazing and received deferred adjudication, which under Texas law means he had to successfully complete probation but was never convicted. A separate charge of assault was dismissed.
Representatives for Hamm and “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner did not respond to requests for comment. AP
