Gear up for Wanderland music and arts fest on April 25

MANILA, Philippines—Gear up and put on your best camp ranger outfits as Karpos Multimedia together with Globe and Locally brings you the music and arts festival every beaming soul awaits—Wanderland Day Camp 2015! An annual feel-good habit happening on April 25, where Globe Circuit events ground will serve as a huge nest of fun, adventure, dining and eargasm from noon ’til midnight.

Troupes and backpackers raise their banners for a one-day getaway to such blissful and surreal camp experience with outdoor activities such as music exhibitions, live art, and obstacle courses. There will also be tents, smores stations and art installations. Genuine camp feels with people from all walks of life—a community of free spirits and young dynamic individuals—plus art, music, and nature all together. What’s not to love?

One of the highlights of the event is the appearance of renowned artists from all parts of the globe. Exclusive in Southeast Asia is American recording artist Kid Cudi as the headliner, recognized for his mixtape “A Kid Named Cudi” and breakout single “Day ‘n’ Nite.” Make sure you’re ready to keep up with the fancy beats from RAC and switch to renowned American indie rock Augustana. Joining them is the American six-piece known for their hit single “We Come Running” Youngblood Hawke, Australian indie pop quartet The Jungle Giants and British folk and acoustic singer-songwriter Lewis Watson.

Also gracing the stage is OPM legend Hale, bringing the good ol’ days with their massive comeback. With electronica beat-savvy Sinyma, smooth musical language by Kate Torralba and fresh homegrown talents The Strange Creatures and Austin from Wanderband, everyone is ready to pump up sweet melodies across Wanderland.

Bringing us different flavors of sick beats infused with classical sound with modern techniques is CRWN, while throwing off extra spice in dynamics are FXXXYBLNT, BP Valenzuela, The After-School Special and Similar Objects.

Radiating more colors in the festival grounds are live exhibitions from June Digan, Kris Abrigo and Tokwa Peñaflorida, all gathered to put up one full show of amazing talents from different corners of the creative pool.
