MANILA, Philippines—Newlywed actress Heart Evangelista has refuted the statement of ABS-CBN talent Angelica Panganiban that she was not invited to her wedding with Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero on Feb. 15 at Balesin Island in Quezon province.

On the day of Evangelista’s wedding, Panganiban posted on her Instagram account a photo of herself with Ateneo de Manila’s University’s volleyball team after their game at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Panganiban replied saying “she didn’t invite me” but denied she was mad at Evangelista.

A netizen asked Evangelista on Instagram to clarify the issue, to which the newlywed actress replied she sent an invite but was turned down because Panganiban had a scheduled trip to Japan.

In December 2014, Panganiban attended the wedding of actress Marian Rivera with Dingdong Dantes.

Both GMA talents, Rivera and Evangelista reportedly are not on good terms. NC
