WATCH: Chiz, Heart exchange vows, share first kiss and dance as married couple
MANILA, Philippines—It may have been more than a week since Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero and actress Heart Evangelista tied the knot at the exclusive Balesin Island resort in Quezon, but people are still talking about it.

On Sunday, videographer Bob Nicolas posted on YouTube the official wedding video of Mr. and Mrs. Escudero. The scenes were filled with tears and laughter, but it also provided a glimpse of the couple’s palpable love for each other.
“Napaptunayan kong mahal mo talaga ako kapag sinasabi mong gwapo ako kasi ‘yung nagmamahal lang talaga sa akin ang makakapagsabi sa akin nu’n tulad ng nanay ko,” said Chiz during their exchange of vows on February 15, eliciting laughter from Heart and the guests.
(I can prove that you really love me whenever you tell me that I am handsome, because only people who truly love me can say that like my mother does.)
“Thank you for giving me the time of day, for giving me another chance to love, to be loved, to live, to believe and to believe again. You are my first, my only, one true love, and you are and you will be my last. I promise to love and take care of you with all that I am, all that I can, and all that I will be. I promise to love only you and you only as I grow old(er),” Chiz continued.

While Chiz displayed his sense of humor during their exchange of vows, Heart’s tone was more emotional.
“And then you came along, your gentle love put the thousand pieces of my heart together. From the restlessness of my youth to the calming of my heart, thank you for being my serenity and my home.
“I promise from today and tomorrow, you will no longer walk alone. I promise to stand by you and to hold your hand through this journey. In tears and in laughter, in this world and the next, I will love you ‘til the end of time. I love you and I will love you forever with all of my heart,” the actress said, her voice quivering.
Chiz and Heart also reacted to the ribbing of the officiating priest who wished that they have many children. Chiz said he wants five, but Heart says she only wants two. The senator already has a son and a daughter from a previous relationship.

The video also showed Chiz and Heart’s first kiss and first dance as a married couple.
Some of the more prominent personalities who attended the event were Senator Grace Poe, businessmen Hans Sy and Fernando Zobel de Ayala, news anchor Mel Tiangco, and actresses Alessandra de Rossi, Jennylyn Mercado, Solenn Heussaff, Jolina Magdangal and Lovi Poe. IDL
