13th Gawad Tanglaw Awards in photos

MANILA, Philippines–The awarding rites for the 13th Gawad Tanglaw were set on Thursday at University of Perpetual Help in Las Piñas City.

Actors Piolo Pascual, Martin Escudero, Coco Martin, Allen Dizon, Angel Locsin, Julia Montes, Angelica Panganiban and Nora Aunor won acting awards given by the board composed of members of the academe.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) also won awards from Gawad Tanglaw, receiving the Best Newspaper (National Broadsheet) Award and Best Entertainment Editor Award for Emmie G. Velarde.

PDI’s entertainment section, the board said, sought “not only to entertain readers but also to inform them about the different aspects of the entertainment industry.”
