Last January 27, Titania’s Wine Cellar on Yakal Street in Makati was the venue for Deanna Bergman’s “Great Gatsby”-inspired birthday celebration— which also served as a reunion of sorts for former PAL flight attendants like Deanna and me.

Brenda Cockburn organized the surprise party, which was also attended by some male pursers. Music was provided by a father and daughter band, and wine by Tita Trillo. Marita Jimenez Waugh was in great shape and looked like a teenager.  The beautiful Carmen Soriano, who is the celebrant’s best friend, delighted us with sizzling song numbers.

Others in attendance were Marizen Sillona Tomas,  Doris Flores, Leonie Kloo, Luth Marcelino, Daisy Barrameda,  Anita Levings, Jeanie Alapi, May Hermosisima, Femy Wagas,  Babee Perez, Mila Bautista, Maila Garcia, Merce Paguia, Del Garcia, Ruth Cuico Johnson, Rosita Canlas Nisce and Greta Lauron.
