DeMille award: “[His wife] Amal Alamuddin is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case… an adviser to Kofi Annan regarding Syria and [part of] a three-man commission [probing] rules of war violations in Gaza strip… so tonight… her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award.”
