‘Rekorder’ in Vancouver

MIKHAIL Red’s “Rekorder”

After winning at the Annonay (France), Barcelona (Spain) and Gwangju (South Korea) fests, Mikhail Red’s “Rekorder” will compete in the Dragons and Tigers section of the Vancouver International Film Festival, set Sept. 25 to Oct. 10. Programmer Tony Rayns described “Rekorder” as “a riveting debut… half noir thriller, half study of what it means to stand apart and look.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
