MANILA, Philippines—For “freeing her nipples,” she got kicked out of Instagram.

Scout LaRue Willis, daughter of Hollywood celebrities Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, gained attention in the social media after posting a photo of herself on Instagram strutting the streets of New York City—bare-chested.

The 22-year-old Willis did not do this  solely for nudity’s sake, but for an advocacy dubbed #FreeTheNipples, protesting the sexualization of female breasts and women equality.

This, however, raised the eyebrows of the administrators of the photo-sharing site, prompting them to block Willis on Instagram and deactivate her account “for violating (their) community guidelines.”

Unfazed by the suspension, Willis reposted her two topless photos in the microblogging site Twitter, saying “Legal on NYC but not on Instagram” and “What @instagram won’t let you see #FreeTheNipple.”

“My comfort with my body should not be dictated by how others perceive me. However, I don’t wish to force this view on anyone,” she tweeted.

Aside from Willis, celebrities Michelle Rodriguez and Miley Cyrus were among the advocates of the #FreeTheNipple campaign.
