Proud moms
MOMMY D graced the Socsargen Photo Safari’s stopover in GenSan.
Manny Pacquiao dotes on his mother with love, diamonds and other expensive items they couldn’t afford when they were still living in the mountains of GenSan. Mommy D narrated that the boxing champ has always been a good son, helping her eke out a living.
Mommy D taught her children to be God-fearing and do what is right in life. Like any mother, she doesn’t like seeing her son getting hurt.
Flight attendant
As for me, as mother of four children, I feel the urgency of investing in my health for a longer life. I received an early Mother’s Day gift when I recently attended the graduation of my third daughter as a Philippine Airlines flight attendant.
I was elated to put Amanda’s wings pin on the lapel of her uniform, proud to have her follow in my footsteps. It transported me back to the time when my brother, Hector, pinned my wings on my uniform 45 years ago.
Mother’s Day celebrates mothers and motherhood. We should remember that, when a child is born, so is a mother! Happy Mother’s Day!
