‘Debosyon’ wins in Canada

AlvinYapan’s “Debosyon” wins Honorable Mention–Outstanding International Feature at the ReelWorld Film Festival, held in Toronto, Canada, recently. According to Yapan, the jury “recognized the artistic risks that [the film] took and creative sure-handedness in execution.”

An entry in last year’s Cinemalaya, “Debosyon” features Paulo Avelino and Mara Lopez in lead roles. Bayani San Diego Jr.
