Taguig court has yet to issue arrest order vs Vhong Navarro’s maulers

MANILA, Philippines—The Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 271 has yet to issue a warrant of arrest against the accused in the mauling of actor/TV host Vhong Navarro.
Instead, during Tuesday’s hearing, the court already submitted for resolution the motion for judicial determination of probable cause filed by Cedric Lee, Bernice Lee and Deniece Cornejo.
A source privy to Tuesday’s proceedings said the court is expected to issue a ruling within 10 days.
The motion filed by Lee through counsel Howard Calleja sought the dismissal of the serious illegal detention case for lack of probable cause to pursue the case against them.
