Kim Henares clams up on Anne Curtis’ BIR visit

MANILA, Philippines—No amount of girlish cheers and shrieks from her employees could move the hard-as-stone taxwoman.
Anne Curtis shed her mermaid costume and hurled herself to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, but Commissioner Kim Henares just shrugged her shoulders on queries why the Dyesebel star dropped in.
“No comment,” Henares said in a media briefing Thursday afternoon.
BIR’s Information Center was also baffled by Curtis’ visit.
“We were aware of her visit, but we don’t know the purpose of the visit,” one employee said, requesting anonymity.
According to BIR records, Curtis is 50th on the list of top individual taxpayers for 2012, with a total of P19.1 million tax payments to the bureau.
