Melai, Jason share photos of first baby

MANILA, Philippines – Real-life couple Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco welcomed their first child on Thursday by sharing her pictures on Instagram.
“Hi Philippines & universe, here’s our first family picture,” the new father said in his post.
In addition to thanking doctors of St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City, Francisco wrote the hashtag #melasonBABY, alluding to their love team’s nickname.
Cantiveros, who hails from General Santo City in South Cotabato, was seen lying in a hospital bed with her two thumbs up.
The four-photo collage also showed Francisco posing for the camera with his baby. The other photo featured the wide-eyed baby, which fans said had features from both parents.
As of noontime on Friday, more than 2,700 people “liked” the photo. Many congratulated the couple while asking them about the baby’s name.
Both Cantiveros and Francisco were contestants in the 2009 edition of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Cantiveros won the competition and later established a career as an actress, comedian and host.
