“She has never looked as beautiful as she does these days, especially with shorter hair. She looks hot!” said Matteo Guidicelli of Sarah Geronimo, who was rumored to have thrown a tantrum by shearing her hair just days before the launch of her new shampoo commercial.

The actor is allegedly the cause of Sarah’s most recent rift with her parents, who reportedly ordered the 25-year-old singer-actress to cut ties with Matteo, 24, so as not to compromise her first movie teamup with actor Coco Martin.

“I’d rather not discuss that,” Matteo said when asked. However, he confirmed another report—that he and Sarah attended a Victory Christian Fellowship service in Taguig City together.

SARAH Geronimo sports a shorter do that’s the subject of much idle chatter.

“Yes, that was us.” He did not elaborate.

Despite the apparent disapproval of Sarah’s parents, Matteo has refused to give up. “I don’t know [the situation between Sarah and her parents]. I just want everybody to be happy,” Matteo told reporters during a press conference for “Galema,” his afternoon drama series on ABS-CBN. “Direk Wenn (Deramas, ‘Galema’ director) always tells me to just be honest.”

The director said Matteo often sought his advice on love matters. “If I had a daughter, I’d want her to end up with someone like Matteo,” Wenn said. “When it comes to love, Matteo is the type who fights for the person he cares for.”

Matteo agreed with his mentor: “I’d do anything for love.”

Sarah was earlier linked to Rayver Cruz, and then to Gerald Anderson. Both relationships ended because her parents allegedly disapproved.
