Berlin site praises ‘Norte’

Filipino filmmaker Lav Diaz’s four -hour epic “Norte, Hangganan ng Kasaysayan” received a rave review from the Berlin Film Journal.

Nathan Letore wrote on the web site: “[It] does reach a climax of astonishing poetry and delicacy…  a testament to the force of Diaz’s vision.”

“Norte” will have its last Ayala screening at the Glorietta 4 on March 31, 6:30 p.m. Bayani San Diego Jr.
