Celeb’s real love a shocker of the third kind

/ 12:05 AM February 16, 2014

SEEMS Angel Locsin’s new show is too mature for some advertisers.

Rumors have been circulating about Scandalous Starlet’s fishy relationship with Controversial Personality.

If this shocking scuttlebutt is true, then SS’ sweetheart is CP’s Female Relative.

No wonder FR is fiercely protective of SS, even more vociferous than CP in building up SS, come to think of it. A close encounter of the third kind?

FEATURED STORIES

Then again, these latest development could be an attempt to keep the fickle public riveted. SS’ 15 minutes of notoriety played out all too quickly. For her.

Online harassment

In a social networking site, Hunky Cutie went public, complaining about the harassment he endured in the hands of Obsessed Fan. Apparently, OF had been sending HC lewd, disturbing messages.

The cyberencounter started innocently enough, with OF professing devotion to HC. Things quickly turned ugly, with OF offering P20,000 for a night of pleasure with HC.

The online exchange was a mess, with harsh words flung here, there and everywhere.

HC fessed up about the entire fiasco after receiving death threats from OF. Spooked!

Bashers galore

Speaking of cyberattacks…

Gorgeous Starlet and Glib Colleague received quite a bruising from online bashers.

The haters were of the opinion that GS and GC bungled a potentially enlightening, if explosive, exclusive with Dubious Dilettante.

The possible coup went kaput. As in, epic fail.

GS and GC’s coworkers and rivals are smugly snickering in the sidelines, relishing the public hazing of the dithering duo.

Busy beauty

From the Inquirer Radio program “Inquirer Entertainment” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):

Remember Brazen Beauty, who parties nights away in several bars? A notorious gate crasher, BB proudly declares that she’s no professional flesh peddler.

In short, when she goes on “dates” with different guys, it’s just for fun and not for profit.

MARIAN Rivera just had another squabble with a reporter.

No, no, BB isn’t giving everything away for free. She makes it a point to “network” in such gatherings, hooking up with prospective clients and business associates, building up her directory. BB can also stand for Bodacious Businesswoman.

Hooked

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Hot Hunk “dates” wealthy gays to supplement his show biz income. He doesn’t need to turn tricks because he makes good money from acting gigs.

But, it turns out, HH is a sex addict, hooked on the lucrative sideline. His latest benefactor is a physician. Maybe this one can  find a cure for HH’s ailment.

That ‘F’ word

It was a misunderstanding, Ovation Productions’ Renen de Guia told the Inquirer when asked about the row between US performer Rex Smith and Filipino singer Charice Pempengco.

Reportedly, a member of Smith’s staff/crew shouted at Charice and/or someone from her camp—using the “F” word, no less—while they were doing a sound check for a corporate event in Cebu City earlier this week. Charice’s manager, Glenn Aldueza, is demanding an apology.

MATTEO Guidicelli sneaks out with lady love, to her parents’ dismay.

In an e-mail, De Guia confirmed the use of the offending word but said Smith, whose Manila shows are mounted by Ovation, was on the receiving end. The concert promoter related that Smith dropped by the ballroom of the Radisson Hotel for a quick look at what he (the singer) thought was his setup.

De Guia’s account: “‘Get the f— off my stage!’ [Rex] was shouted at by this guy who turned out to be Charice’s [Filipino-American] musical director. We were shocked! Only then did we find out that Charice was performing as well.”

Smith was offended by the “very un-Filipino” outburst, De Guia said (“He loves Filipinos and Filipinos love him back”), but added that he nonetheless apologized to Charice and her group.

Up till Friday morning, Aldueza was standing by his story. He told the Inquirer his camp had not received any such apology.

Top of Bandera

Top show biz news in the Inquirer tabloid Bandera (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

GMA 7 problemado sa pagkamatay ni Roy Alvarez. (Philip Seymour Hoffman will be digitally “inserted” in the “Hunger Games” film he didn’t finish.)

(Scandal as a lucky charm. A novel notion.)

(Should they…? Good heavens, please.)

(Is anyone still talking about this?)

(Change of heart ang tawag d’yan.)

Bagong talk show nina Kris at Boy Abunda inulan ng mga reklamo. (Oh, they’ll weather this for sure.)

(That sounds… not nice.)

Governor Vi?)

Kris nagprisintang maging ninang: Mag-iipon na ’ko! (First in line.)

(Hard to believe but…)
