PH filmmaker wins in Rotterdam CineMart

Filipino filmmaker Shireen Seno’s project “Nervous Translation” is one of the three recipients of the Global Film Initiative grant at the Cinemart, held during the Rotterdam International Film Festival in the Netherlands. The project will receive US$10,000 from Global Film Initiative.

CineMart is a “coproduction funding market which brings together filmmakers … with producers, distributors, sales agents and buyers from all over the world.”

‘A Thief’ in Cinequest fest

US filmmaker Nathan Adolfson’s “A Thief A Kid And A Killer” will have its world premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival to be held in San Jose, California, from March 4 to 16.

FEATURED STORIES

The international film top-bills Filipino actors Felix Roco, Epy Quizon, Arvy Viduya, Lance Raymundo, among others.

The fest “showcases premiere films, renowned and emerging artists and breakthrough technology—empowering global connectivity between creators, innovators and audiences.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
