What’s the most memorable romantic gesture you’ve done for a special someone?
Ogie Alcasid: One Valentine date with my wife, I arranged for live violin music. A private chef prepared a special dinner for us. We had all that at home.
Ding Mercado: I hired an all-male singing group to serenade her on her birthday!
Pat Castillo: I prepared a special dinner date at home!
What are the things that make you swoon or feel kilig?
Ogie: Now that I’m older, it’s really my wife’s smile that makes me melt.
Ding: Gestures of affection from the one I love.
Pat: Once while waiting at the top of an escalator, I saw him hurrying before spotting me. The look he had in his eyes when he finally saw me just “killed me,” and I get kilig all over when I recall that!
If you could date any famous personality, who would it be and where would you take him/her?
Ogie: Pass na ako dito!
Ding: No celebrity in particular. But if someone came along, I would take her to Sorsogon to experience my apostolate!
Pat: I would love to date … gee, I have no one in mind! But I would take him to a private island.
What for you is the best love song ever written?
Ogie: Tough to decide. Perhaps “Ngayon at Kailanman” by George Canseco and “Pangako Sa ’Yo” by Rey Valera.
Ding: “I Won’t Last A Day Without You” by Paul Williams, The Capenters version.
Pat: All music [written] is about love.

What can we look forward to in your show?
Ogie: This is one show where all the members of “Sawakavan” (Samahan ng mga Walang Ka-Valentine) can reminisce, cry and laugh; be entertained, and hopefully, dance to the music that have kept them company all the time that they’ve had no Valentine dates.
Ding: In all our shows, the audience loves reminiscing with songs from certain eras that they identify with. They experience the kilig that they felt back then. And of course, there’s the whole retro experience! The show’s a whole package of feeling young again… and affirming that the 1970s being the golden era of music!
Pat: History repeating itself. There are also new songs to listen to, swoon over, and hold hands with.
