‘The Hunter’ from Iran
“The Hunter” takes the viewer to Iran. Recently released from prison, Ali (played by acclaimed director Rafi Pitts, who also directed the movie) makes the most of his freedom.
Despite working at nights, he tries to spend the most of his time with his wife and 6-year-old daughter.
Tragedy strikes when his wife is accidentally killed in a police shootout with demonstrators, and his daughter goes missing.

After a long and frustrating experience at the police station, Ali’s search for his little girl ends in horror and pushes him over the edge.
