Gregarious Personality went just a wee bit too far. GP had been engaged in a bitter war with Powerful Celebrity. PC got fed up and put the pressure on PC’s Stumped Bosses.
SB had no choice but to sacrifice GP or incur the ire of PC, whose Crooked Cohort could squeeze their other business interests.
In perfect timing, GP made a boo-boo at work. SBs wasted no time in “reprimanding” GP.
In the past, GP often played the “influence” card when pushed to a corner. This time around, GP got trumped by PC’s vaunted social clout.
Dial-a-breakup
The fairy-tale romance of Brazen Star and Gorgeous Sweetheart ended unceremoniously.
BS had suffered in silence because of GS’ unpredictable mood swings.
Curiously, things were going smoothly just days before the breakup. One night, BS mustered the courage to confront GS.
Seething, BS called up GS and recited a litany of complaints. GS was stunned speechless.
In the end, BS just hung up—and that was the last time they spoke.
Seat fillers
Not a few eyebrows hit the ceiling when Cute Star staged a show recently.
Quite a lot of insiders wondered how the seats in the venue were mysteriously filled with warm bodies. Were CS’s fans really that loyal?
Did Enigmatic Benefactor buy all the tickets—to make CS happy?
There’s another scuttlebutt that tickets were given away to fans who were loitering in CS’ home studio.

Turned out, other pals have made money off CS. For example, with a little creative accounting, Close Associate managed to purchase a house and lot without CS’s knowledge.
The list is long, of supposed friends who have abused CS’s kindness (or gullibility). Fortunately, one of them pals was able to bank-roll a noteworthy project allegedly using CS’s extra cash.
The rest of the surreptitious deals can be filed under “SA.”

Observers smell something fishy going on between Handsome Hunk and Wealthy Entrepreneur.
HH is often spotted in WE’s condo. HH also spends weekends in WE’s rustic hideaway.
Noticeably, HH can now afford to buy expensive gadgets and luxury cars. And he often travels abroad, too.
According to a source, HH succumbed to the persistent wooing of WE in a moment of (financial) weakness.
Clearly, HH hit the jackpot. But so did WE.
