Influential celeb seen with mistress after ‘Yolanda’

/ 07:43 PM November 19, 2013

MARIAN Rivera urges Filipinos to help supertyphoon survivors.

While central Philippines reeled in Supertyphoon “Yolanda’s” aftermath, Influential Personality was spotted in public with his mistress.

IP is in the middle of a personal tempest, to boot, yet he had time to “bond” with Longtime Lover. They were working up a sweat in an exclusive fitness place. Rushes mole, who says the illicit couple are regulars in the sports venue, was shocked speechless.

Is this IP’s way of coping with stress? And in public, ha, blatantly disregarding the possibility that Feisty Wife could discover the regular rendezvous.

FEATURED STORIES

FW could turn state witness, but let’s not go there.

LL now lives in a posh subdivision, courtesy of IP and the Filipino people. The gall.

Help delayed

There’s this cyberspace rumor: In a far-flung community, survivors of a recent calamity queued up for relief  to be handed out by Major Company.

The gift-giving was halted, though, because Controversial Star was not yet there. The truck had to go back to the city—with the goods—to get CS, who wanted to distribute the goodies … on-cam.

But before she did, the beneficiaries had to wait while CS got dolled up.

Elle-litista

Talk about delusions. Perky Star has long been known to be snooty. Coworkers claim PS doesn’t even like sharing the elevator with mere mortals, acting all high and mighty, in spite of her obvious ineptitude.

In one moment of sheer arrogance, PS told a reporter: “My market is the elite sector … I’m not pang-masa!”

Huwhaat? Whoever gave her that impression needs to see a psychologist—or an ophthalmologist. And bring her.

Trinket of contention

From the Radyo Inquirer program, “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.):

Just days post-Yolanda, Pretty Starlet made the mistake of posting a photo of a precious trinket online.

PS meant to auction off the item and donate the proceeds to survivors, that’s true, but some netizens found it in poor taste. Thus, she got a deluge of negative comments on cyberspace.

The offending post promptly vanished.

Hopefully, PS pushes through with her good intention, in spite of the naysayers. She should just be a little more discreet.

CRISTINE Reyes says Derek Ramsay was hopelessly attracted to her. “Joke lang,” she hastens to add.

Stench of a hunk

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Handsome Hunk had so much promise in his younger years. However, he lost his way and got hooked on drugs.

HH often appears disheveled in public these days. Worse, he seems to have forgotten basic hygiene and emits a distinctly foul odor—possibly the result of substance abuse.

Top of the Talk Shows

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Cristina Gonzales-Romualdez, wife of Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez, on the city’s future after Yolanda: “There’s something special about Tacloban … I know we can rebuild the city … and make it even better.” (That’s the spirit.)

Jennylyn Mercado on her relatives’ situation in Leyte: “Nakita na po namin sila … lahat po buhay, pero gutom. Dumating na ako sa point na ako mismo gusto ko nang umalis para mag-abot ng tulong.” (And what could be stopping you?)

Jennylyn on her breakup with Luis Manzano: “Kung ano man ang dahilan, sa amin na lang ’yun.” (If you reconcile, would you keep it to yourself, too?)

Luis, asked what’s the worst thing a woman could do to him and make him leave her: “Sa isang industriya na damned if you do, damned if you don’t, I’d rather be damned [because I didn’t] talk.” (But talk is your currency!)

Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos on her son Luis’ love life: “If it’s meant, it’s meant. Kung hindi, let go. Count your blessings.” (Yup, a buffet of clichés works just fine sometimes.)

Jennylyn, asked if she was “lucky or unlucky” in love: “Blessed!” (Can we cut this word some slack, people?)

JENNYLYN Mercado is mum on the cause of her breakup with Luis Manzano.

Marian Rivera, urging everyone to help Yolanda’s victims: “Walang maliit o malaking tulong. Ang mahalaga, may malasakit ka sa kapwa mo.” (Good one.)

Claudine Barretto, missing her sister Marjorie: “One day, I found myself crying and crying and praying dahil na-miss ko ang Ate Marjorie ko. I hope, if merong chance na magkausap kami balang araw, gusto kong malaman niya na kung ano man ’yung nakakarating sa kanya, eh hindi totoo.” (Sayang, OK na sana.)

Claudine, asked if she were willing to reconcile with estranged husband Raymart Santiago: “Mahirap patawarin ang isang taong traydor.” (Another riotous retort, Raymart, quick!)

Cristine Reyes on her breakup with Derek Ramsay: “Almost three years kaming more than friends … We tried pero ’di kami lovers talaga.” (You tried to be lovers? Is this a new show biz sport?)

Cristine, asked why she and Derek decided to be a couple: “Siguro dahil pareho kaming single. And I think patay na patay siya sa ’kin! Joke!” (Oh, and these are the only rules.)

Miss Universe third runner-up Ariella Arida on what went through her mind while the Top 16 were being called: “Hindi ko inisip na ’di ako matatawag. Hinihintay ko lang ’yung camera na tumapat sa ’kin! ‘Tumapat ka na sa ’kin, please!’” (Well, they did say she had confidence.)

Ariella, asked if rumored boyfriend Ervic Vijandre made her happy: “Maraming [bagay] … hindi lang siya!” (And spunk!)
