Helping others
Helping others is part of living well—and living right. Not only do we give happiness to others, we also experience joy by helping those who are in need. Some proverbs that will hopefully inspire you to help others:
Help the wounded, advise the cruel.
The little help that you can extend to the poor will not make you poor.
A neighbor can help you more than a brother who’s far away!
God helps those who help themselves.
Hardship
He who helps in times of hardship is a true brother.
I’m happy if I feel that my hands are being helpful.
He who is ready to give will likely get to eat.
He who does not help others won’t get any help.
Our own thoughts: The best help is eternal and permanent. A helping hand comes with a caring heart. Those who want to help don’t get angry or bitter. And, helping nourishes the heart!
