‘Mga Kuwentong Barbero’ competes in Tokyo

Jun Robles Lana’s “Mga Kuwentong Barbero (Barber’s Tales)” will compete in the 26th Tokyo IFF, set from October 17 to 25. Lana’s film will vie for top honors with 14 other entries from China (Ning Ying’s “To Live and Die in Ordos”), South Korea (Kim Ki-duk’s “Red Family”), among others. Lana was an honoree in last year’s Inquirer Indie Bravo Tribute. Bayani San Diego Jr.
