‘Lola’ in Malta, US fests

Just in time for Halloween, Filipino filmmaker Joey Agbayani’s animated short “Lola” will be screened in two horror film festivals abroad—the Malta Horror Film Festival, set from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, and the Killer Film Fest, to be held in Somerville, Massachusetts, from Nov. 1 to 2.

Tyrone Acierto’s  zombie film “The Grave Bandits” is also part of the latter festival. Bayani San Diego Jr.
