Scored PH screenings in New York
Filipino indie filmmaker Khavn de la Cruz provided live score to three of his films at recent screenings in New York. “Squatterpunk” was shown August 29 at Pratt Institute, with De la Cruz providing a punk-rock soundtrack by digital piano. As part of Expo 1: New York program of the Museum of Modern Art, his “Kalakala” was shown Sunday while “Mondomanila” will be screened Monday. Bayani San Diego Jr.
