‘Oros’ wins in Iowa


Filipino filmmaker Paul Sta. Ana’s “Oros” won honorable mention for Best Narrative Feature at the recent Landlocked Film Festival, held in Iowa City.

“Oros” was an entry in the 2012 Cinemalaya fest where it won Best Actor for lead star Kristoffer King. Now on its seventh year, the Landlocked fest celebrates independent movies from all over the world, says its website. Bayani San Diego Jr.
